Here is a quick list of my live websites and projects, i’m always working to improve these so let me know if you have any ideas, they are always appreciated.

WhatPortIs.com – Network Port Database

I am forever looking through network traces and firewalls logs, and finding ports in use that I didn’t recognise or had just simply forgotten over time. Then found myself always going to google with queries like “what port is tcp 5358”, annoyingly most of the results were then useless of spammy.

So I thought this needed fixing, and it turned out that “whatportis.com” was actually free! Now I can just simply go whatportis.com/5358 and get all the results in a few seconds. I think it’s cool, and by how popular it’s got recently, so do others!

I’m currently migrating this over to Laravel, and in the process adding in a load of new cool features, so keep checking back, or let me know of any ideas you have to improve the website.
